After she got hit she went after the driver who hit her. Others on another board think that it was uncalled for. IMO I liked it. Thought it brought some drama and excitement to the race.

I liked Danica when she came up. I thought she would be good for the sport and would open the door for more female drivers that I think are just as capable as men. What has turned me on her is the complete lack of humility or responsibility that she exhibits. First, she tells the world that Rahal/Letterman, who gave her the big break, didn't have the equipment or the techincal ability to compete and that she needed to work with AGR because they were an organization that could support her amazing talent. Nobody remembers that AGR and their drivers were very outspoken in their disgust for the attention that Danica was receiving with the separate autograph sessions and press conferences (while at Rahal/Letterman), but when they hire her, all of a sudden she's great and everything is forgotten. Then, she takes that equipment and technical capability and fails to win a race, or even be competitive in a heads up race (not a counter fuel strategy like she won with in Japan). Remember her great Indy rookie run, she spun out, was a lap down and if not for some very fortunate yellows and out of sequence pitstops, she would never have been in contention. Agreed, she did those things, but she has never shown up and been fast off the trailer and just blown everyone away.

And how many times has she run over everything and literally everybody and always had an excuse for why it was someone elses fault. Today was a racing thing. That's what Sarah Fisher said and that's what Danica should have said. She is with the perfect team because the Wandretti clan has the longest record of whining and blaming everyone else for all their failures. Even when his own kid screwed up and ran the contending teammate into the marbles, Michael couldn't bring himself to admit that Marco was the problem, but as soon as the cameras were rolling, Michael was ready to blame Briscoe and praise Danica. If he wants Penske to write him a check for Danica's mishap, then he owes Sarah a check likewise. There is a reason the Andrettis only have one win at Indy. It's more than they deserve, and I hate saying that because Mario certainly did everything in stock cars, indy and F1, but when it didn't work out, it was always someone elses fault.

Briscoe is in over his head. Should never be at Indy. Danica's accident should never have happened. Penske has too many racing ventures going to keep up with who is doing what . Meanwhile Sam Hornish is fixing to be as successful in NASCAR as he was on the Indy side, yet he is still stuck in the shadows of Kurt Busch's ears. Why ???

I'm a big Penske fan. Class operation all the way. Have never really like Danica. That being said.....

I thought Danica's march down pit road was awesome. Lots of drama, PASSION for the brickyard (even though she wasn't gonna win) and intensity.

Penske should get rid of Briscoe and sign Scheckter. He was driving for a half/Penske team today. Tomas will either win or crash but will be exciting either way.

I felt so sorry for Sarah after the crash and have even more respect for TK after his remarks.

I think Bill will remember this (saying Sara was my "fling" back when she ran through here in the mid 90's with the All-Stars). Forgot where we were during the Thunder Through the Plains but another sprint car driver crashed Sara and she was livid. It went a couple of days before she finally calmed down enough not to go thump his head.

Didn't see but heard about Danica and that is what reminded me of Sara. If guys can do it, why can't she?

Who is TK and what did he say?

As far as Sara, I know she could have probably crawled under a rock after she did what she did.

And I did hear today that NASCAR is going to do some aerodynamic changes to Kurt Buschs car due to the unfair aerodynamic advantage he has due to his ears.

I say if you are going to play with the boys and want to get in their face like a man, you get whatever you have coming to you. I by no way condone hitting a female, but where do you draw the line. It is either that or you have a oil wrestling match with them.

Dave,

TK is Tony Kanaan. He spun after being forced high by his teammate Marco Andretti. He ended up spinning into Sarah's path and took her out. Nobody's fault. In his interview, he said he was sorry for crashing Sarah, admired how much of her money she put into her Indy effort and that she deserved a much better result than she got. They rode to the infield care center together and he said Sarah was really upset and crying. He gave her a hug, told her to get those tears over in the ambulance and basically have her chin up when she was interviewed. Nice guy.

Sarah did break into tears in her interview.

I think we should let Danica and Briscoe's girlfriend go at it as a pay-per-view feature. The could call it "The Prelude to the Wet Dream".

Danica probably would'a done what most women do when they get fired up and confront a man. CRY !!!! But that isn't to say she didn't have any right to go after him. He did screw up. I'd a been pissed to. She was gonna get a good finish even if she didn't have a car to win.
