My subscription to flat out is about to expire. Is sprint car and midget magazine better, or should i stick to flat out. Are the magazines pretty much the same? Let me know, I could use some help.

They both have good qualities. I get both, but probably prefer Flatout.

agreed, my subscription to flattout is about to expire, thanks for reminding me , I guess I find more technical info and grass roots exposer to Flatout, althought both good mags and pertain 100% of my interest ,Sp&M to me seems more on the glamourous side of the sport , now Sp&M is monthy , too bad Flattout isnt yet? if your like me ,you'll get both!

PLAN A: Just have the wife fill out the subscription to Good Housekeeping, and tell her youll drop it in the mail tommarrow , "bata bing bata boom" make the switcharoo and opps ? Housekeeping? racermag? owell, same thing, right?

I recommend getting both. They are both good reads.

Well, Flat Out features great articles by people like me wink and SC&M hasn't seen fit to yet, but I love them both.

I also write for Flat Out and of course I am a bit biased, but for a good reason. I think we are the best.

Doug and his crew do a really good job with SC&M and I do read them as well. But, I think we are a very well-rounded magazine with a great Editor in Justin Zoch and a crack staff of writers and photographers. I would say we are a bit more modern, but cover all the basis.

Heck Jimmy, I wasn't saying that SC&M was better. I just love reading about sprinters. I still go back and read my biographies of people like Opp and all the others, over and over; especially during the off-season.

Both good but if I had to choose one or the other it would be SCM merely for the columnists. Doty, J Swindell, Argabright, etc.

My two subs are Flat Out and Dirt Late Model. Both seem to offer more coverage from middle America than any other racing publications I have seen.
