If you can't be in Florida for the start of the sprintcar season listen to highspeedradio.com starting @ 6 pm ET tomorrow night with host Rich Vleck from East Bay Raceway Park they are looking to have between 50-60 cars signing in.

That would be great, but as of right now, I am not hearing any racing? Are the times pushed back if so what time does the audio come up?

Another streaming webcast that requires registration?

If I could find a sponsor for my website that would make it possible for me to travel around the country broadcasting races on the internet I'd do three things. #1, hire Mike "The Pencil" Priefer to do my stats and pit reporting #2, hire his uncle Chuck to drive the water truck and #3, offer the service free of charge with no registration required.

Grrrrr, I hate having to register user names and passwords...

P.S

I listen to countless streaming webcasts with much bigger market shares that dirt track racing and those don't require registration. I can't understand why streaming sites for a niche sport like dirt track racing would need to trouble their listeners to sign up when bigger outlets do not. The only possible reason I can think of is that their statistical software isn't sophisticated enough to provide the marketing data their advertisers require. In that case they should upgrade their stats software and not throw the burden back on the listener.

Explain to me how a major market share radio station like kqrs.com can allow me to click on the link to listen live but I have to sign up for a lil' ol' dirt track in the middle of nowhere. Or why all the dirt track streaming webcasts used to not require registration to listen but this year many of them do?

I applaud the American Dirt Network for not requiring registration. Many of the streaming broadcasts on track sites are still registration free as well. Like I said, it's one thing with a message board where people can interact but streaming broadcasts should not require registration.

I'm with you having registering each time, but you need to be accurate with this one. The only information you need to put on www.HighSpeedRadio.com is a nickname IF you want to join the text chat (optional). There is no password and no need to have any certain name.

If you want to listen to the broadcast again tonight LIVE from East Bay at 7:00 EST, you simply need to click on "Listen Live" at the top of the page and click the play button when the audio box pops up.

If you have any problems with this or question, feel free to e-mail [email protected]

Our goal is to make the listening process as enjoyable and painless as possible.

I apologize if I jumped to conclusions but at first glance the site appeared to require registration to listen. I had just come from the live feed of another racing series that denied access when I tried to listen. When I enter a site and see the sign in box I'm outa' there.

I'm not sure about tonight, the wife requested my attention so it might be a non-racing evening but I'll tune in later if possible. Bottom line is that I'd rather be at the races taking photos and camping out than sitting hunched over the computer in my office.

I dont think they will have a radio broadcast but we will be doing live updates for the race. I believe you are talking about the ASCS Coastal vs Rebel series race at Loxley?
