I must not be looking at the correct schedule. Everyone was certain both tracks were going High Limit and boycotting the Outlaws, but the schedule I see has only Outlaws listed for national touring races. Let me know when the Outlaws fold, and the correct schedule is posted.

Did Tod ruin Jackson? Ain't been there since Travis Whitney beat the All Stars whatever year that was. Since then a rich dude bought it, spent a bunch of money on it, changed the track twice, kicked out the local racers and now they have 7 nights of racing scheduled next year. In my mind none of that is better.

WoO at Jackson June 4 the same day HL is at 141. Both running midweek shows in the same area of the country. Interesting

Sorry onporch, but many of us follow other forms of social media. I never accused anyone on Hoseheads of saying this, and I don't believe my reply referenced it. (I'll change the word "everyone" to "many." Does that help?) Hoseheads is followed by a tiny fraction of the actual sprint car fans on social media, many of them using sites I don't even access.
So, if you would like me to catch you up, many sites, posters, and groups have been reporting that Gravel would be going High Limit, and Tod Q. would be taking his tracks with it. This has had pretty heavy traffic lately. If you missed this entire conversation, you may be limiting yourself quite a bit as to what's out there. This is a forum for sprint car fans, but nowhere does it say we can only comment on posts made by others on Hoseheads. That said, I enjoy posting and commenting on Hoseheads. The posts, answers, and replies seem to be much more intelligent and well thought out than average post on sites like Facebook. (Usually) Don't always take my comments as a slam on Hosers all of the time. It's more of me walking out of a room of people that sound ridiculous and venting to a group of people that aren't near as ridiculous. (Usually---Strawser not included)

In my opinion (again just my opinion), Jackson should try running 8 - 10 Saturday Night Races. Just to see if the crowd count is better than Friday Nights. It seems that most of the "Old School" race fans from the Lakes Area miss the Saturday Nights.
Saturday Night Races could include- 360 Sprints, 305 Sprints, Stock Cars, and Sport Mods.
A few Friday night 410/305 Sprint Specials could still be held.
Maybe try something different. How about a "Masters Classic" Race. 50 and over 360 Race.

400+ miles apart, more than 6 1/2 hours drive by car. While I'll give you that they're in the same region, I don't think they're going to have much effect on each other that night.
Signature here.
