The group has a ways to go. Got tired of both announcers Thursday night complaining , they didn't know they were going to call support class. Admitted they didn't know drivers or anything about late models. Very unprofessional comments. Sprint car feature was decent, nothing spectacular.
Crowd looked very weak, yes, I know it's late model country. Cancel Friday night, hearing different stories on how much rain and sunshine. You wonder if Thursday crowd had an influence.
A shaky start for this "grow the sport and my pocket" sanctioning group.

I watched the show. I am a sprint car fan. It was obvious the track is more suited to late models and the late model races were very good. I do not fully understand what makes a track better or worse for different classes of cars. I have been told of the track differences by friends that have been following racing for many years. They are right. They race sprint cars there again today. It will be interesting perhaps?
The announcers were so so. It was like a local cable TV show or high school sports production announcer wise. Remember I have worked professionally in the TV sports and entertainment business for 40+ years. So I have worked with a lot of announcers over the year. I have watched many improve and some fail. There are professional coaches that can help with this.
The budgets of streaming companies are not likely to provide for grooming the announcers. More likely they will try some others until they find acceptable ones. Hopetully?

I watched the replay of Thursday's race and I thought it was lame. The mix of announcers was painful to listen to and the racing product wasn't very impressive either. The next level of sprint car racing appears to be a lower level.

The hamburgers were good at Volusia, East Bay and Golden Isles. Actually, better than Burger fi.

I think Limit was banking on getting Blake to be the announcer and when he decided to leave the road it put them behind. Welch was definitely not the answer, Bokhoven would be great but he probably doesn't want the job.

You need to stop whining also. I wondered about Chase. Maybe they for some reason had to find an announcer and these guys got the short straw. This was one race of 60. Give the people a break.

If you don't recognize lousy announcers you must not be listening.
Chase sick maybe? Fingers crossed he will be back.
Many of the commercials were loud so I just hit mute every time. Sponsors would not like that I think . . . . . .

Have you not heard, Chase will be the announcer for the ASCS national tour which will appear in three or four states -maybe!

Hang in there....soon you'll be able to hear your beloved announcer screaming for hours on end from Volusia. Can you imagine Johnny Gibson's massive ego allowing others to share the booth, especially late model drivers (gasp). Chase is doing a great job. It was only their third broadcast. Screaming Johnny has been doing this for how many years and how many thousand races?
You haters are only making yourselves look like fools by trying to find any little thing to bitch about with HL. For hating it so bad, you sure seem to care an awful lot about it.

Relax have some fun it's a minor part of racing. People can have an opinion about it without totally pissing their pants if it doesn't fit your opinion. I'm sure the World of Inlaws is gonna be fine.
