What happened to the tenderloin stand directly behind the grandstand? All they pretty much dead was fresh tenderloins. The place there this year was barbecue and it was really good but I missed that tenderloin stand

Triple B's Tenderloins food truck was across/caddy corner to the Hawaiian Grill on the east side of the ticket office.

I'm still wondering what in the hell happened to The Waffle Guy. He hasn't been at Knoxville in years.

I saw Triple B's - but that isn't the same tenderloin truck is it, that was there before?  I thought it was blue and white truck, AND the guy was out in the back actually pounding out the tenderloin, breading and then frying.  They were phenomenal.

Correct.  They are still VERY, VERY good tenderloins at Triple B's.  (I had 2 of them)  But, not quite the same as the stand you're talking about.  The stand you're talking about made the absolute best tenderloins ever made-----and there is no one else even close.   wink

They guy I liked was gone after the Covid.  Right behind the grandstand in the same place and I loved his Southern Style tenderloin with the cole slaw.

Those were the best Tenderloins! And were still only 7 or 8 bucks at the time! (well not only, but now I think they were 16.50 with fries)

Triple B's , not the same. And the stand west of the ticket office, now where the BBQ place is /was, was good. I had my 1st southern style tenderloin there and was impressed.

My all time favorite tenderloin stand was ran by a church north of Dingus in the HyVee lot. It wasn't uncommon to see 2 dozen people waiting for the "Big Foot" tenderloin. I'm not 100% sure on this but I THINK those tenderloins can be purchased from a meatlocker just outside of Otley, which I think is where the Checkered Flag Concessions sources their tenderloins.

Bub's Grub Food Truck across the street in O'Rielly's lot had a decent tenderloin.  I aslo wanted to try the Wings at the BBQ stand right behind Bub's but they ran out unfortunately the afternoon we stopped over.
