Schatz confirmed.

Another team agreeing with running 4 non WoO races to get those excellent perks.  Guess the perks are not as stupid for the business side of the teams as some "fans" think after all.  They all coming back and adding one of the best of the true outlaws from the last few years in Scelzi.  Couch racers are funny.

Where did it say he agreed to only 4 non outlaw shows?

It didn't, I guess the team could give up the perks for the up to 8, but I doubt it.  40 to 150k extra to keep it to 4, guess we shall see.

Just because everyone is signing on right now doesn't mean they are satisfied.  It would be foolish to not sign on as Platinum right now to get the tow money and other perks for the first 15-20 races.  Wait until the middle of April to see people start to think about jumping off the tour.  Especially after all the WoO driver marketing material is done and published.  There will be much more leverage then.  Hypothetically, you could start the tour with 15 platinum drivers but in April, 8 teams may band together and demand additional freedom or they will drop off the tour.  I would think that would be the best opportunity for them to do so since an outlaw tour of only 7 drivers may not be that desirable to market throughout the rest of the season.  Having top tier drivers not sign on as platinum now, would encourage other less funded teams to sign-on and give the tour a go since they know the non-platinum drivers won’t be competing against them for the point fund and bonus money.  Having them all sing-on now would prevent that, ensuring a small field of platinum drivers left to compete for the points fund and bonus money should the previous mentioned hypothetical scenario play out. Not saying this is going to happen or do I want it to, it just makes more sense as to why you will still see every one sign on again in the beginning of this season.  Also, still waiting for official confirmation from teams about what races really count towards the 4 nights i.e. the million, the Cappy, the FRC.

Cappy & Knoxville Nats have always been OK with WoO, I don't see any reason why that would change

You must've missed the rule to sign up for the Platinum package--------can only run 4 non-outlaw shows.  If Schatz signed up, he's agreed to it.

Sheldon is back full time WoO.   15 total, just like last year to start the season.   Kraig Kinser off Gio Scelzi on the tour.

Has it been reported that Kraig Kinser is not a Platinum member and thus "off" the tour ?

15 full timers is a great number.  Once again, so much for the demise of the Outlaws.

He doesn't get it.  At all.

If a Pizza Hut employee takes the inventory, cooks the pizza at home and sells it down the street from Pizza Hut at 60% of the price, it's the same thing.

The WoO inventory is the teams.  You don't let your inventory be sold without you getting a cut of it.  That's dumb business.

Wait I just figured it out.  Let the teams race wherever they want.  But if they show up at your track, you have to pay WRG $10K per team for the privilege of having them race at your place.  We'll see what promoters want to pay to poach a product.

I have no dog in this fight but that's the most stupid analogy I've ever heard.  World Racing Group doesn't give any breaks to the travellers such as cost of engines, chassis, maintainance items, and much more.  They guarantee there will be be a payout of sometype if you fullfill your contract based on how well you do.

If anything if falls more into the realm of non-compete contracts.  Which have varying applicability depending on the state.

I see Kraig is signed up for tonight's all star race at East Bay.  Maybe he's going to run full time as a non platinum?  I can't imagine him using these shows as part of his 4 option races.  I'm just a little confused as to what's going on with him.

WoO has let guys run Florida Allstar races for quite a while.... no conflict, as far as I know

I thought the pre-outlaw races were only allowed because they were before the outlaw season actually started?  If that's the case, I'm surprised a couple more didn't stay in Florida to race.

I'm not sure, to be honest

It just seems like all these sanctions run together in Florida every year

I'm a long time fan of the WoO as my many posts here show, but I'm getting sick of their BS, fuck them
