No one is advocating for 360's, in fact the exact opposite!

Hell... build a 430 if that trips your trigger, a stroker crank is way cheaper than the latest and greatest heads. The point was that unhooked race cars, whether done mechanically or by track conditions level the playing field and make for better racing period.

Then 7 out of every 10 nights that 360, 410, 430 doesnt matter nearly as much.

You na sayers are correct... it will never happen, not because the difference of cost between a 410 and 360 its beacuse the WoO will never allow rule changes that give up the full timers advantages; Ultra Light - Extremely Hooked Up - Monster HP is what sets them apart from most of the locals and makes them the Greatest Show On Dirt!

None of that will NEVER happen and it is not because of the outlaws.  You can unhook them all you want the 410 will still beat the 360's everytime!!!  That is like a 305 being competitive with a 360.  It isn't going to happen!

Well stab-steer wins the prise, he at least got the point of the original post. Argue about engine size and cost all day but that was Cubic's point.

Who cares.....410's are to be fast and on the verge of being out of control!  Not being on glass or a slipe and slide!!  That is why they have the 4 different Sprint division in PA! 410's, 360's, 358s, and 305'. But what gets the highest fan count 410's and second place isn't even close!

Last night Knoxville had the perfect track for the 360's.

Nah, dirt track racing is about passing, back and forth battles for position. The best conditions for that is when the track slicks off and the cushion gets up near the rail - WIDE AND RACEY. The best drivers and best set up cars shine. I hate that high speed conveyor belt racing on a narrow track with a heavy low cushion. They may be going fast but without much passing or side by side, it's boring as hell - a high speed parade. Selinsgrove was like that AGAIN last night and although it's my hometown track, I'm about done with it. That's why they get few cars and fan count is dwindling. I'll take Port Royal or Weedsport any day. If I just wanted to see speed, I'd watch drag racing.

Obviously people care or this thread would not exist. Way to jack another thread to get some attention. Yes, we all know you are sorry.

Didn't jack anything!  410's pack the stands!  360's don't there is a reason for that!

Yeah Port and weedsport both rubber up!   Lol Port was horrible last night!!  Rubber down racing...reminded me of a train!

Knoxville has a the perfect track each night they raced this past week.  Heavy at the beginning of the night slowing down as the night goes on.  Thse 360 races were very good even though last night was won from the pole!

Do you remember that the things that Cubic advocates were in affect at the time that you claim to have gotten interested in sprint car racing. Were they boring then? If they were what captured your interest? You had to have wetter tracks then because the cars were not as locked as they are today.

With how they prepare the tracks today.....rolled tight.  You NEED wetter tracks at the beginning of the night!  Just like the old days.

I watched Port on Saturday night 8.6.22.  That was horrible racing.  The track took rubber.  It was a freight train around the place.  Just like every other night.  When was the last time someone ran the inside rail the whole way around and won on the bottom?  That is because there isn't a bottom groove.  You need to do a slide job in order to pass every single time.

As a friend of mine put it yesterday when I saw him.  He went over to Port.  He said that was nothing more than Asphalt racing.

What captured my interest back then was the excitment of the cars.....being on the verge of out of control yet still having control.   You don't get that when the track is not prepared correctly!!  See rubber down racing!

You sir couldn't be more wrong.  I've seen 305's beat 360's and 360's beat 410's multiple times.  They can't qualify with the bigger motor, but later in the night when it slicks off that extra power doesn't matter.  It's all about keeping the wheels under you and not scrubbing speed.  Just loook at the NRA vs 305 series they do at LImaland and Fremont every year.  The 360's don't dominate that series at all.

It had to be on a slipe and slide.  I guarentee you one thing.  It wasn't at Knoxville or any other track that knows how to prepare a track.  The nights it happened I bet there were not any good 410's in the field or the track was junk all night long.  The same goes for a 305 beating a 360.  Well we all know about Limaland......enough said!!  Ask most of the 410 drivers about Limaland......  For the top spot they should never ever be in the same class on any given night!  They are an accident waiting for a place to happen.  Closing speed is way too quick with the difference in the size of the engine.    I have seen it happen too many times....a lot of accidents when the 360's try to run with the 410's.  I don't care what size the track is either.

Acually the winner ran the bottom in 3 & 4 most of the race Sat. I wasn't there for most of hot laps. I only saw the 305's. They were running low 20's and few high 19's. I know these things because I was there rather hearing them through the grapevine.

I watched it on Flow.....ever heard of it?   It was a freight train around the place.  Yes, the reason the winner ran the bottom in 3 & 4 was because it took rubber!   That came right out of the winners mouth!!!   Very boring racing!!   I am talking all the way around one and two as well.  That is right they couldn't run the bottom there they would always loose too much ground!!

In warmups Logan Wagner was the fastest at a 17.2 something.  Talk about boring!

This is in no way a defense or credit to track prep. The winner started 4th, second started 9th, third started 8th, fouth started 12th, fifth stard 5th sixth started 10th.  I am not sure on this but I think hard charger was plus 10 . No Passing? You can disagree with track conditions if you want but you can't spout bs that is not correct. As you say some one here can't handle facts and truth.

The track was JUNK all night long!!!!  Track conditions were horrible.  They need to start later when it is the middle of summer.  Slip and slide at best.  Worst prepared track in the east!!!

And how many passes were from lap 10 on?  Not many!!  The fastest guy on the track Saturday night ended up crashing in turn 1 and 2....because of how poorly the track was prepared.  He couldn't pass the leader because the track was JUNK!!!!!  TRAIN!!!!  Looked like the sprinters were in slooooooooooow mooooooottttttttttttiiiiiiiioooooooooonnnnnnn!

The fastest car on the track crashed because he was impatient and just drove into fence while trying to imitate someone who he is not. At least not yet. As far as how many passes after lap ten. I wasn't keeping a score card but as usual after being proven full of it you move the goal posts.

So, the fastest guy crashed because of track conditions but the other cars didn't? What track were the other cars racing on?  You should proofread your posts before hitting post reply. It would save you a lot of backpeddling.
