The article I read indicates Bobby and the perp were both transients. Sad news all around. Thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones.

The Orange County Register, ocregister.com and KTLA.com both did not identify Bobby East. However, they listed the deceased " Acould have been a transient". Regardless, it is a shame a person that age met such a violent death. An amendeded KTLA story stated other reports identify him as Bobby East.

Terrible. When I lived in Phoenix I drove down to Tucosn and watched him win on the pavement when he was just 16 I believe.
