I just watched it too.  I really enjoyed it.  But I'm not sure if it was a good race?  What were the lap times?  What were the lap times in hot laps, heats and B features?  Like I said, personally I enjoyed the race but I'm not sure if they were running the right lap times to constitute a good race?

I do not know what you are talking about with lap times.  They were going as fast as they could with the track conditions given them.  Of course they were not running laps at the same pace as time trials, the track had dried out as all tracks do.  I am sorry, but I do not agree with you.

I think I can help here linbob.   Mr. Hardon was being sarcastic towards Mr. Strawser who seems to think the racing isn't good unless the track is tacky and lightning fast...

Mr. Hardon beat me to it..................................................................................... wink   Obviously WAY too slow if there was decent racing.

Knoxville only misses once in a while.  There was a top and bottom groove and they were getting after it!  That was great racing for the feature.  Unlike one PA track that misses it most of the time!

It is starting to show that Dirt vision and FloRacing subscriptions do have a bad side.

The Racing was Awesome!  The 1st 360 Feature was a dandy also. Garner seems to be on a Mission. Great Job to all...

Did anyone see or hear what happened with Davey Heskin on the back stretch?

Agreed, what was that, like 19 second lap times? Thought I was watching street stocks with wings for a second.

PORT has those lap time normally in the heats.  Talk about watching grass grow all night long.  Get it wet at the beginning of the night and you will see an outstanding feature.  Like they had a Port when Macri and Wagner were going at it.  The lap times in warmups were in the 15 second brackets.  That is where they need to be every Saturday to have the best racing at the Port....not an opinion either.  That is a FACT!!!

There's a positive and negative to almost everything. Nothing is better than being in person, however there are times when people can't go for various reasons.

I have been able to watch more sprint car races than i have ever been able to do b/c of Flo and DV. I do wish we had more split screen broadcasts showing the leaders and somewhere further back in the pack. I don't know if FLO does this but I can't stand it when the leader crosses the finish line and then the camera is stuck in position on the flag stand so all you see is a blur of a car with the commentary " David Gravel finishes third, with Luke Warmwater in 4th"

Back to the subject again, the racing at Knoxville this past weekend was phenomal. Well ran show, with top notch drivers, facility and people running program. The Dunkins aren't too bad either.

I have not heard of people complain about lap timrs at Knoxville before.  The 19 second lap times are seen at Knoxville Nationals.  No one complained.  It takes more skill to drive a drier track than a tacky track.  Oh, by the way a street stock would be turning 26=28 secon laps.

Yes, I know.  But they also start out the night during The Nationals in the 15 second bracket.  It is not that hard to figure out.  Then it slows down as the night goes one and it usually has two grooves.

Haters can watch everything and find all the problems then come here and share their findings. Before ppv we were limited to complaints where people attended in person.

I don't hate on anything on anyone.  Only see what the problem is and bring it up.  Every other track seems to be able to understand this concept....except one....just saying.  Wet at the start of the night and slowing down as the night goes on.  That one track you start out slow and by the end of warmups or a couple of heats the track is already worn out.

Sprint car racing is to be exciting and unpredictable.....that is sprint car racing.  Make it wetter at the start....make the crews work a little for there money during the night.  No, this is not my thinking of what sprint racing is,  it actually is what sprint racing is yesterday, today, and in the future.....nothing else compares!

Thinking right front radius rod bolt. Not 100% sure though. - from Sam Heskin via Twitter.

Something broke but I am guessing after the wreckage it was hard to pinpoint exactly what it was and be 100% certain. Scary ride.

I'm not complaining, you're blessed to not be aware of WingedStrawser's constant Port Royal complaining. For those that are, we point out his/"their" hypocrisy from time to time.

Knoxville is my favorite track and the racing on Saturday was awesome. Can't wait for August.

I have no hypocrisy towards any track.  Port just doesn't get it's track they way it needs to be at the start of the night.  9 out of 10 times they miss it.  That is a FACT!!

My Favorite tracks listed in order.

1. Knoxville - Best track prep in the business.

2. Eldora - Not far behind in track prep.

3. Lincoln, PA - Has best track prep in PA.

4. Selinsgrove - Normally very good track prep.  Just really like this wide track for racing.  The speed and the high groove and the way low groove.

They are my top 4 I really don't have any other track to put on here.
