This place looks different than it used to. Its screened up at least 20 foot all the way around the track, I guess that makes it safer for drivers and fans. There's a couple of drivers that might have survived in recent years if every track had this, billboards are a killer, so its a good thing. But it does make viewing on Flo a bit interesting, not a complaint, just a comment. Great having 410 sprints on a Wednesday night!

The big old 5/8ths was reconfigured two years ago into a high banked 4/10ths...I thought owner Doug Rose was making a mistake by down sizing, boy was I wrong. The racing is much better, especially for the weekly Big Block Modifieds. All new fencing around the track and much improved lighting as well. The Concrete Kid, Anthony Macri, becomes the first in the country to reach five 410 wins this year with the win tonight. Tough break for Brent Marks.

I give them a thumbs up, they know how to run a mid-week show. Program clicked right along with just a short track rework before the feature. Get people in and out at a decent time.

That sounds like a good formula for a weekend show too!

The new configuration never disappoints no matter the division - wide, fast and racey. A little rough last night but still good. I wish some of the 1/2 mile tracks in PA would make a similar change. It's the 21st century. You don't need a huge track to attain high speeds any more. All it does is string them out and kill motors.
