Wow, that is what sprint car racing is, flat out, no half throttle, multi goove racing!  Congrats to Kofoid on this win.  He, Freddie, DD & Peck put on one hell of a show.  Got a little cold though but the excitement of an  outstanding race kept me warm.

The track surface was awful. It was dusty during the heat races. I'll never go there until they fix the track prep.

It is better than hard, black, and dry. So hard and black there isn't any dust.  That is when you know it isn't going to be a dirt track, more like asphalt!....just sayin...

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

I realize that you don't go to the races in person, but you do realize that the dirt on dirt tracks comes in different colors, don't you?

Hey, I'm just looking at a little computer screen, same as the Strawsers. A fan of the #44 team has posted their heat race and the feature on Youtube. Both are dusty.

All I hear about Pennsylvania is how bad all their race tracks are. I dont think I'll ever go to another one again in my life.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Winged strawman, that was good racing, DD gave up that lead to the 71 to easy. The 8 and the 13 were coming that's for sure. The race at the port was also a good race.

How do you keep track of which account your signed in under?  Doesn't it get confusing?

Actually a damn good point....

I've always wondered what the difference is between driving on Knoxville black "gumbo" & red Pennsyltucky clay

Maybe somebody who's driven can enlighten us?

Maybe thats why Brownie is great at Knoxville & mediocre in Pa.?

& Why Posse never wins Knoxville Nationals? (although Gravel learned there.... ZERO dirt tracks in Connecticut!)

No not at all.  I have one account and one account only.  I have no Idea who Strawser is.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with 2 guys having the same opinion.  Many just wont admit it.  I talked to a certain driver at Linclon on Saturday who used to run Port quite a bit and he said the track surfact is junk and very hard on tires.

You are dead wrong....I go to plenty of races.  Yes, I realize that, but hard, black, and dry is still hard, black and dry no matter how you slice it.

Anyone who thinks PA has bad track surfaces has never been to Ohio (and I live in Ohio!)

HA!  Name the driver.  Also, comparing tire wear in this day and age is nothing but a cop out.  Port produces great races dang near every week.  Even the Lucas Oil guys thought the track was awesome.  Too bad you have an axe to grind with Port for some reason and will never give them credit for one single thing.  Also, it is such a coincidence that both you and Straw have the exact same opinion on exactly everything about both Port and Lincoln but neither of you hardly ever bring up andy other central PA track.

Just a bit of dust at times at the Ohio tracks.  That's why goggles sell so well in our state.

Goggles don't do shit when the dust is so bad you can't see the backstretch.

did anybody see what happened between rahmer and borden saturday night at lincoln?  freddie pulled a really tight slider on borden off of 4 while they were racing for the lead.  borden crossed over and was underneath freddie going into 1.  freddie drove into him going into the corner which spun borden out and ended his night.  the post race interview made me think freddie didn't even realize he wrecked him.  he said he was glad he could get the lead before the caution came out like he didn't know the caution was for him wrecking borden.

this was a little worse for me than the wagner-macri deal since freddie almost wrecked him twice.  my only beef with freddie is he makes little passive aggressive comments about other drivers like dietrich in some of his interviews.  he races as hard as some of these othe guys at times.
