More proof that the success of the 57 non-w car not being all due to the great driver

I figured someone would be a moron. Yes, winning a local race in Cali is the equivalent to what Kyle has been doing to the Outlaws, All Stars, Lucas Oil Late Models, World of Outlaws Late Models, Nascar Cup, USAC Midgets, and 300+ cars at the Chili Bowl. Paul Silva is behind the scenes all over the country apparently.
Great at setting up a car. Not the reason for the level of success the other 57 has had.

I don't think Justin gets enough credit for how much he's doing out west. Would love to see him go on the road

Sanders could be the next big time 410 driver to come out of Cali. They've sure produced a lot of great drivers in recent years.

Yeah I think that was Justin's 10th win of season but only first with 57w.
Agree i raced with Justin's dad Rick and got to know his grandfather Micky really well.
3rd generation driver been doing a good job.
For the record Dominic S. took the lead a few time at Merced , but was called back due to cautions, so luck was also a part.

Did not do as well in Watsonville last night. Started way back and Got caught up in a spin. The track was pretty much follow the leader. Finished out of the top 10.

According to BillV99's thread, he has 17 wins, plus this one.

seems pretty amazing to me this little agricultural mecca northwest of Salinas-Aromas/Prunedale- which many a race fan has probably never heard of, brings us a kid with over a hundred or so A-main wins to his credit, growing up racing the likes of 2 generations of Kaedings-from very close by-as well as too many great racers to list, also brings us another worid class driver in Ryan Bernal, these two grew up fiercely racing one another & winning in their respective disciplines, all without a ton of fanfare & hoopla, maybe due to their geographic upbringing, unlike parts of Indiana, Ohio, Pa. etc...less exposure & whatnot. just thinking with a keyboard

this was another win for floracing over the weekend. we went to see dick vermeil at eastern museum of motor racing mostly because i'm an eagles fan. his stories about racing in ca with his dad were fascinating though. i never knew coach vermeil had those roots...and i had never seen a race from california. thanks to flo i was able to watch the king of the west races and see justin sanders who i had seen come up a couple times as one of the better drivers in the country.
