Really glad to see what Brent Marks has been doing since the split between him and CJB.  Really showing CJB how it is done!  CJB all show and no go.  I could retire on what they have and spend on those to elaborate rigs, cars and equipment.  With what they have and spend they should be dominating everywhere.

Marks is clearly better at the moment, but all of the top teams spend loads of money. Not one team is going to dominate in 410 sprint car racing because they spend lots of money. CJB has been off as of late but they just picked up a $17,000 win in Ohio a week or so ago. I would say Marks has his team rolling especially well rather than say CJB isn't good. Still a long season yet, but I think both parties benefited from the split

It all starts with that little pill you draw when you 1st get there, then you got to make it threw the heats with out some asshole knocking your front end off the car or running into the side of you and taking you out , so if you have never been in a race car shut your pie hole !!!!!

Rocket, believe it or not, this used to be a friendly place - but it was a long time ago.

CJB has their flashes of brilliance but still have everything but the mojo...or something.....the only one who could make it go consistently was Gravel.  But Gravel can make anything go. CJB being a case in point.

Gotta say it again:

2012 Fred Rahmer / CJB - Fred looked washed up, downright awful

2013 Fred Rahmer / Sell - definitely not washed up

There's a pattern. The driver benefits when he gets out of that seat. Fred, Marks, Gravel, .........

You make solid points. The consistency has lacked for sure. Paulie had a couple good years on the Outlaw tour in 2013 & 2014 winning 9 races with loads of quick times but that was awhile ago and ancient history in sprint car racing terms. I'd say in the big picture I'm just happy Chad Clemens has spent and continues to spend so much in our sport to field cars in an age where owners are dwindling

Brent Marks knows how to drive a race car, seems like he always has since he was much younger. Glad to see his team on a roll, quite a nice bunch of people.
