What does it take to get on the push truck crew? I have a truck and live just down the road in Chariton.

If you know someone that pushes at Knoxville would recommend you talk to them. Otherwise contact the track officials. I believe there are rules to follow, specifications on you push bar setup and attendance at push truck school.

Sounds fun... My only issue is having to pay attention to TCOB and not being able to watch the races. My buddy is pushing down at 34 Raceway this year and asked me to ride along. Might check it out, could be a blast.

Once a requitement was you had to ride with a current push driver prior to doing it yourself. Don't know if that applies.
Would contact John McCoy at the track..I you look on their web you can find his number and email address.

I was told you have to be able to successfully perform the backwards J turn just like James Garner did in Rockford Files.
