Sorry you're in poor health Mike, in better times we shared a blue Maui or two. You introduced me to Wertz @ Knoxville, never did forgive you, lol. We go back way before you think, you once were going to spend a night in my home on the way to KCKIM when that relationship was budding.  You have never stopped defending the dirtiest driver in the history of winged sprint car racing, I know others who share those sammy tinted blinders. Next time the tearful one admits any fault will be the first time. That said, always enjoyed interacting with you, especially back in the day, and for the record, I never worked or announced at Knoxville Raceway or any other venue. Peace to you and your loved ones.....

Speaking of smokerudrinkplayeruget, I was just listening to Joe Walsh and the Barnstormers roll through a live version of Turn to Stone.  What a riff.....

Hey Mike.  I have missed visiting with you at the Chili Bowl ... I am with Roger - hope you make it back (hell - I hope I make it back).  I did not read this as you being in bad health.  If so - keep on hanging in there and keep on trucking.  You are too young to just give up.   Miss seeing you.

Did you finally sell out of the iconic Steve and Sammy battling it out in the 90's 8x10's?

Best wishes. I still have two photos on my garage wall that I got from you at Bloomington. One is Dale Sr in the garage, the other is Mikey, Dale Jr and Sr on the track right before Dale Sr died. It is interesting how my valuation of those photos has increased over the years. Take it easy :-)
