R.I.P.
A great supporter of sprint car racing for a long time.
He and Sammy were a perfect match - his trucks are never dirty and neither was Sammy's sprint car.
Almost a quarter of Sammy's lifetime wins came in that car.

Yea that was a good looking car. But you have to give sammy credit. The rig, the car and every pc of equipment was spotless. Remember the chromed vise ? I think that was in the channel lock trailer, can't remember.

TMC has always kept there trucks clean, it is how they operate. The company prides itself on clean equipment.

I'll never forget this. Somewhere in a muddy pit area in 1991 I was watching Sammy prep the TMC #1. And instead of laying a perfectly polished aluminim wheel cover in the dirt, he very carefully jammed a screwdriver into the ground and leaned the wheel cover up against it. Attention to detail my friends...

The Chrome Vice was definately in the TMC Hauler... It may have been adopted by the Channel Lock Trailer as well though.
