It is a bit deceptive on the entire year thing. I'm assuming you don't have MavTV? Overall I think you'll like it and realize it's a pretty good value once you get into it.

Only issue with MAVTV is, not everyone carries it. I'm lucky to have it now.

You need to read all of the words. They have been transparent that Saturday night's card will swtich to MAV TV. However, you will get four nights of prelimary night racing and all of the alaphabet soup you can handle with Flo.

I had the same thing happen when I joined over the summer. I emailed them and they quickly changed me to a monthly subscription. My advice: keep the year. it's like $25/month or something paid monthly. There's always something to watch on Flo.

I haven't experienced any dishonesty with my subscription over the past two years. The yearly is definitely worth it over the monthly, and they are offering an incredible amount of content at this point for any open wheel dirt fan.
One tip: If you're a yearly subscriber ($150 currently I believe), and you go to cancel shortly before your renewal comes up, they will offer you $120 for another year. That's $10 / month and a no brainer. I've scored this deal two years in a row now.

I agree it's deceptive but Flo is such a bargain at $150 per year with all the content they deliver I can't be too sorry for anyone who signs up for it because I'm sure you'll like it.

Flo is worth every penny.I too experieneced the difficulty of finding the monthly rate and bought the year based on others reviews. I will tell you as i was told it is the best $150 you can spend. And thats without the chili bowl. I have watched over 100 races since June from all the top series. So now you get all Usac, Allstars, IRA , Eldora , ASCS some PA tracks and many more. You can watch the shootout, the chilibowl, then usac, allstars in feb. Boom you already got your moneys worth.
The C's B's and A of the bowl have switched to Mavtv for many years now. Flo has nothing to do with this and would gladly show it if they could. If you want to blame look to Lucas Oil. They promote the bowl and own Mavtv. So there you have it. IMO Lucas spends a ton on racing and they can do as they please. I have no problem with it. They are promoting thier brands.
past years there has been good options on how to watch on MAvtv. maybe others can help. I have it as part of my charter package. had to up grade to one of those $7.99 ad ons or something.
The best viewing though is from my grandstand seat which I still plan to be in.

You can get MAV TV as an a la carte channel over streaming at nkt.tv - it is $6.99 a month for just that channel, or they have it in the silver package at 9.95. They currently show a 7 day trial period, not sure if they disappear that right before the Chili Bowl. I've seen for several years posts on other boards about nkt.tv so I imagine at least some people subscribe and dump it right after. But it's a cheap option to get the Mains on Chili Bowl night.

It is no differnt than years past when Racin Boys carried the Chili Bowl PPV, you got M-F complete and get Saturday from the Q main (or wherever) up until the D mains. Cs, Bs and A are on MavTv, free if your cable/satellie provides, paid subscription on LucasOilRacing.tv if not.
For those us that already subsribef to Flo for $150/year, it's a bargin ans we don't have to pay for get the Chli Bowl this year. (I believe that all 5 nights + Saturday prelims cost around $150 alone last year) I've probably watched 100 races on Flo since May, easliet the best bargin the interest.....three live races this week alone.

I do agree that not every single FloRacing race has top notch production values. (I was kinda pissed that the Hoosier 100 had the same single camera following the action as tonight) There is no doubt that they will bring their A game to the Chili Bowl. It seems like the All Stars and USAC (not counting the Hoosier 100) on par with Dirt Vision. (well, close....no drone and occasionally no rundown scrolling on top)
But to call Flo a scam or screw job is just plain wrong.....it is the best deal in dirt track racing streaming. Look at it this way, the cost to watch the Chili Bowl is about the same as it was the last several years....but you get the service for 359 more days of the year.

I also fell for the Flo Racing 'monthly subscription' con job a couple months ago. I was thinking about starting a support group that meets once a week. Just know you are not alone.

I hope that you will come to enjoy it more. I agree it's frustrating that they offer monthly options for some parts of Flo, but not FloRacing, but I think that's because of the sheer volume of programming you'll get with them. Yes there are broadcasts that only use the track videographer's single camera, but during the season there was rarely a night that you couldn't find a race somewhere. I hadn't used my Netflix in months once racing kicked back off in May.
The blue circle/stuck picture is most likely on your side (internet connection speed?). I use the AppleTV app to watch Flo and have no issues with their quality.

Who would want Floracing on a monthly basis at the price they offer their annual at? I have Flo for the year along with Dirtvision for five months during the summer. It was awesome and worth every penny.

The support group can meet on Friday nights so they can watch races on Floracing during the meetings. Kind of like facing one's biggest fear, Floracing, in an attempt to heal.

Mavtv is available for free on roku. I think it's under the roku channel or something like that. A Roku stick is like $20.

I guess I can see where people are coming from, kinda...But honestly, the website says"YEARLY" then under that it says "$12.50/mo" and then right under that, it says "$150 paid yearly." I understood it when I signed up. Maybe they just added the first "Yearly" recently.

I don't know how you can call the Chili Bowl deal a scam. They've clearly said the last three races on Sat will be on MavTV. I'm looking forward to the prelim races on Flo. Those are usually some of the better races of the week and I expect Flo to do it right.
I don't see Flo's subscription as a scam either. They said it costs $12.50 a month. That's exactly what it costs. You just have to pay for a year up front. The real scam is Dirtvision calling their's a monthly subscription when it's clearly only 4 weeks. You end up paying 13 payments if you keep it all year.
But whatever you call it it's nice to be able to watch a lot of racing for what I think is decent pricing for both.

Speaking of DirtVision, if you're looking to save a little money and have some extra right now, they still have a 6 month pass available to buy for $199... a $34 savings.

Well, I thought I was the crazy one until I saw over 3000 complaints just like mine registered at the Better Business Bureau against them.
