He has already said it's because his baby's due date is right around the same time. Doesn't want to risk missing that and who could blame him, aside from haters of course.

If the track is anything like it is for the slm guys. It won't matter. All aboard, we have a train leaving. Hopefully it's better tonight. Strawser probably will be the only guy that says good racing.

My son was due a week after the 2006 Kings Royal. Well of course my wife started having contractions on the friday before. I asked if she could just hold it in for a couple days. That didn't go over very well.

I didn't go to the 2006 Kings Royal.

I think that was the year the show ended at 2:30am without any rain delay. They kept reworking the track and it turned into an 8 hr show. You didn't miss much.

Hmm, not sure what race you were watching, but the winner came from the 8th starting position.  2nd place came from the 9th spot.  6th came from 16th.  8th from 21st.  9th from 23rd.  10th from 20th.  12th from 27th.  Sure seems like a lot of passing to me.

Other than the winner, I think a lot of that passing came because of tire issues. Still , it wasn't a BAD race.
