USAC Western States Midget Series
PETALUMA USAC WESTERN STATES & BCRA MIDGET SHOW IS CANCELLED

OCTOBER 2, 2020... Petaluma Speedway and United States Auto Club (USAC) officials have announced that tomorrow’s (October 3) USAC Western States & Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) Midget show has been cancelled. The event was scheduled as a makeup race for the September 6th “West Coast Stock Car / Motorsports Hall of Fame Challenge Race” that was cancelled by a request from the Mayor of Petaluma.
Track promoter Rick Faeth sent the following message on social media, “Due to the ongoing wildfires in our region and extremely unhealthy air quality index numbers, Petaluma Speedway is cancelling tomorrow night’s scheduled race. Foremost in our decision is the health and safety of our competitors, race teams, and staff members. I will work with the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds and officials of the United States Auto Club to find a potential date to reschedule.”
The USAC Western States Midget Series will head to Placerville Speedway on Saturday, October 10th, for the “Prospector Pandemonium” along with the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars.
Petaluma’s 3/8-mile oval will host the traditional 360s of the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series on Saturday, October 17th.
