I sure hope some of you were lucky enough to see the Sweet Springs, Mo race this last weekend. If not you need to Youtube it! I can't imagine a better track for midgets. 1/5th mile with good banking and wide corners. Those dudes put on a show! I was totally impressed with the way USAC ran the event. Very smooth with little down time and a great support class of Micros.

We don't get a ton of USAC races close to Knoxville but I try and keep tabs on them when time and Youtube allows. What struck me was how many very young drivers are driving for top notch teams, Toyota or NOS. Just wondering how they got there? Do they have development programs in Micros or karts? These guys are obviously very talented and brave beyond belief but how do they make that huge step at that age?

Anyway, I sure hope they make this an annual stop. Congrats to McIntosh and Kofoid!
