I usually give drivers the benefit of the doubt on this kinda thing & enjoy watching Dietrich, but that move made me see why people call hm "Double Douche"....
& on the post race interview, he reminded me of "Lumpy" Rutherford.... how many old enough to remember him?

Leave it to Danny.....
I wanted to punch my computer screen during his post race interview. I'm normally a 48 fan but it's gittin' to be re-god-damnded-diculous...

What would Earnhardt have done. He doesn't need to be wrecking our local guys like he has been (Macri, Montieth, Rahmer, etc), but the Outlaws and All Stars are another story, especially the 87 or 57.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Try watching it again closely before blaming anyone.I realize you are all experts on here but try this watch youtube vid at 244 and pay attention to aaron's ass end. Did you notice the extra twitch? Now watch how smooth dd car was i doubt dd was even trying to pass him there he was just following but that extra twich was all it took but hey believe what you want i dont care.I am just impressed and scared that someone on here can spell douchebag.
|
This wouldn't surprise me if I went back and watched the replay. You could see live Ruetzel was damn near parking the car on entry to try and run the bottom and was still missing it. DD had found some grip about a 1/2 groove up on exit and could carry significantly more entry speed. I don't think it was a kamazi dive. More of he got his run and wasn't checking up for someone that slow.

Yeah he was so damn slow that he was leading the race with 1 lap to go after passing Dietrich back for the lead....cleanly.

Rubber down and every car hugging the inside berm for 30 laps reminds you of Port? Oooooook.

I mean you could watch the race and clearly see Reutzel was absolutely lost on the bottom. Act like you've watched a race before and know you don't need the fastest car to lead on a locked down track.

He was just as good on the bottom as double douche. You can clearly see douche overdriving the hell out of it going into the corner and he would have washed up if the 87 had not been there. You're making no sense, grasping at straws here. At least kharma bit him back last night.

Why does the 57 need to be "wrecked"? I've watched most of his races since he returned. I can think of only two incidents: the slide job in 4 at Knoxville with Schuhart (which he received payback for - fair enough), and the pass on CJ Leary at last Sunday's Hoosier 100 (on a barely one-groove track that was like asphalt). And I still really feel like that was a shitty move TBH. I've watched Leary a lot on Flo. He can whine some.
Finally, DDs VL speech at Grandview was classless. I don't recall Larson giving VL comments like that this summer.

I think Larson had another dirty win at the Mitch Smith Memorial at Williams Grove. Brent Marks was leading and Larson hit him in 1&2 and passed him. In his own words, Larson tried to “bonsai in” and there was a “misjudgement” on Kyle’s part and contact was made. Then Kyle went on to say that the contact was “the move of the race” since it got him the win. Kyle then lectured about the dangers of making contact in open wheel racing.
Whole Interview: https://t.co/PJta6PvEJS?amp=1
I’ve seen plenty races where the win was not 100% clean and I understand that racing incidents happen. I’ve also seen plenty of drivers say “I don’t like to win this way” if there was controversy.
Has Kyle Larson or Danny Dietrich ever said “I don’t like to win this way” or “I don’t like winning this way” after they won a controversial race ? I don’t think those guys care how they get the win as long as they get it.

I was looking on Youtube for a good video of Lumpy making lame excuses but couldn't find one
Guess we'll just have to let DD speak for himself...
