I copied this from a local message board.(Tulsa Metro Racing Board)
Nearing time for the Chili Bowl.I am a long time ticket holder.(sit high up between turns 3&4) I would like to see a big screen high up over the center of the track. I realize that the drivers can see the present screen from the track.(should have it too) But from my seats you need binoculars to read or see replays. I am sure others have the same problems. Maybe it should be 3 sided for each set of bleachers to be able to see it. Emmett just signed a long term contract to keep the show going for a long time and set the program to a 6 day show. Please comment if you would like to see this.----Would be a good place for a sponsor to get their name out there.------I would like to see this too.---

I sit about halfway up in DD and the lineups and live scoring is extremely hard to see. I even switched from contact lenses to regular glasses and still cannot clearly make out the lineups.
I always hoped for 2 screens, one for live scoring and a second for live video and replays. Not the current single screen that they currently use.

You read my mind... I always have to scrounge for tickets. 2 years ago, front stretch, perfect. Last year, your area, turn 3, couldn't see it at all. fortunately my neighbor had Race Monitor on his phone. I'm too stubborn & old fashioned to have a Smartphone (Tho my neighbor was older than me! I guess not as stubborn?
But you're right!

We need this big screen. It would make the show so much better.

A large screen scoring device is an addition to the Chilibowl that is way past due. I would estimate one that had the capability to provide the information on three sides and large enough for all to see, could cost many thousands of dollars, surely over $100,000. Who would pay for it? The Chilibowl or the Fair Board or both? I understand that the new west grandstands bleachers was paid for by the fair board at a cost of around $500 Thousand. And the new front straightaway grandstands for use this year cost near $1 Million. However, these will be used for other events throughout the Expo complex. The same could be the case for a new large screen sign. To my knowledge the Chilibowl leases the facility from the fair board and they have no ownership in any of the equipment. Considering all the above, it's doubtful that the Chilibowl will foot the bill for this addition and if it ever happens, it will be up to the fair board. Just my opinion.
