Sheldon Haudenschild just won the dash with Donny fairly close behind... and the rest of the field well strung out after every restart. The show started quite late. Track conditions dreadful for dry-slick-loving wingers. Qualifying times in the :15s on a 3/8s-miler; race laps into the :16s. Hope the clay's dryer at Perris tomorrow. All the big guns from NARC / KWS are here. But won't be there tomorrow for the most part if recent history is an indicator. Car count tonight: 32, including USACers & NARCers R. Bernal, C. Johnson, the Brothers Kaeding, S. Golobic, D. J. Netto, and Gio Scelzi.
#41 David Gravel wins the WoO feature on a slow track ahead of #83 Daryn Pittman, #5 Shane Stewart, #17 Sheldon Haudenschild, #49 Brad Sweet, #15 Donny Shatz, #17 Shane Golobic, #2 Carson Macedo, #21 Brian Brown, & #1 Logan Schuchart. Eliason, Tim Kaeding, Dom Scelzsi, and Jason Sides were still running at the end. Bud, Rico and Gio were all sidelined.
