Congratulations to Greg Hodnett for being honored as a living Legend. Was a great tribute and cool to see some of the folks that showed up.

Also congrats to Lance, Donny, and Davey on the win last night.

Congrats on the win.  They once again proven they are a force in central PA.

That asphalt track needs to be dug up!  Rained all week and the track was getting black during sprint car warmups.  What a discrace that surface is to the racing comunity!!

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

God, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Strawser. We were all so pissed off that the track was getting black before LM warm ups were ever done. I guess it's understandable considering the lack of rain all week.......oh, wait. The prep was terrible. The entire time they were putting water on the track I kept saying it was just giving the illusion of moisture. They probably had that thing sealed tight all week and never dug it up at all. It's sad, really. Everyone thinks that racing last night was great, but in reality, the only time there was any action it was because cars got held up by slow traffic. Now the LM feature was great, but the 410 feature was a disgrace.  Oh, then we laughed hysterically when, before the feature, they ran in the cushion which was all of about a foot off of the fence, lol. They were basically running in a tire width of cushion, instead of just letting it there.  Someone really does have their head up their ass when it comes to track prep. But as long as it continues to draw the 69k to the big shows, knowing full well the track will be right where the team wants it, they won't change a thing.  There ya go Strawser, I've agreed with you, it's probably gonna snow today.

Wasn’t there so can’t dispute your track condition analysis, but was following on race monitor. Conditions didn’t affect Freddie, started 13th, dropped to 15th on restart, ended up 4th.

I too was disappointed in the track. No bottom at all until very late in the feature. The only passing in the heats were sliders into a brake check. Hopefully it was just because of the week of rain.

That was a horrible feature. Only guy passing was Freddie. Good for him. No one else could pass. Deitrich and zearfoss had a mini battle at the end but track was disappointing. After all that rain...no excuse for that asphalt track. I know the drivers prefer dry and slick but I also think they would like to be able to pass. Boring and disappointing Dream Race feature. Preview of the Tuscarora 50 which I will not be attending. That track is not suitable for a race over 25 laps. If you attend the T50 you'll see 10 laps of good racing and 40 laps of "yawn".  Hey Port, take some notes these next couple weeks from Knoxville. They leave a thick cushion and they have a good racing surface all week with multiple racing grooves. I also doubt most of the teams appreciated the last minute change to the track (running in the cushion and putting water on the top) after they probably had their setups in the cars. Maybe some of them got to change stuff but maybe some didn't. Sorry Port, you're going to screw things up for yourself if you keep catering to one particular team.
