Before I ask for picks for the Mansfield podium, a quick question: I didn't get to see the free Speedshift coverage of last night's practice. How was their coverage...multiple angles, graphic, etc? Debating plunking down the $65 for both nights
Who ya got?
1. Cole Duncan
2. Tim Shaffer
3. Dave Blaney

It actually looked pretty good to me. If I weren't going to the race, I would definitly consider ordering it.
1.) Lance DeWease
2.) Tim Shaffer
3.) Rico Abreu

Other than always seeming to focus on just one car, it was pretty good. The lighting made seem almost like daylight. I'm going to say the the racers with the advantage will be the veterans with lots of experience racing on dusty, dry-slick tracks. So for fun, let's go- in no particular order- with Shaffer, Haudenschild and DeWease and honorable mention to Swindell for an almost somewhere in there.

Dusty, dry slick? I thought we were all worried about rain?
A thought ocurred to me last nite: baseball fields use tarps. Would this make any sense on a dirt track?

It doesn't matter if it rains. The surface there will be dry slick and dusty either way...
Real race cars don't have fenders...

A lot of times, it is soft grounds such as pits or whatever, plus the immense size would just not be feasible. Just my thoughts
