I am not bashing Greg Hodnett at all, consider him one of my favorite drivers and a future Hall of Fame member.  I was wondering what the issue is with the team right now, are they experimenting with new things?  Being he is one of the only full time drivers in Central Pa, you would have to wonder if the car owner is getting fustrated.  I don't think age or talent is an issue, Lance Dewease proved that is not the case in the right situation.  The 27 team just doesn't seem to be clicking right now.  Maybe it is the weather, he might be much better during the summer months when the tracks are dry and slick.  Just wanted to see if I was the only one who sees it this way.

The Heffner team has always been a conundrum of ups and downs.  Look at how tough Lance's time in that car was.  It was the ride that made people think he might be past his prime as a driver and not able to really get it done anymore (how dumb does that seem now)....the Dietz ride after that was just getting off the ground and I really don't think people expected him to make it a perenial winner.

Pittman had some decent years in this car and Hodnett has definitely been up and down, but the consistency has never been there for the amount they seem to put into it.

While they have yet to win this season, Greg has been maybe the most consistent car in all of Central PA. That shows by the fact that he is leading the Hoseheads CENTRAL pa POINT Series by 47 points. He's rarely been outside the top 5 all season. I know the owner wants wins, but I think if he keeps running as is and picks up a few along the way you'll be looking at a track championship at Williams Grove and more

They've been fast just not quite fast enough. They'll get there. I don't expect them to dominate but he'll have double digit wins by the end of the season I think. It's tough to pass anymore with the cars so equal and locked down. Only car consistently able to pass is the 69k and the track has to be slicked off pretty good to do so.

I was going to say something quite similar - they have been consistent just lacking a win yet.  Wins will come with consistency.  Not comparing this at all but Chad Kemenah won the All Star Championship 2 years ago (I think it was two years ago) and did not register an All Star win.  Hodnett and team has been consistent and wins should come even it's not double digit wins.
