A lot of talk has been made about the qualifying rule for 40 or more cars. We as fans, want to see more racing. Instead of trying to figure out how to qualify the cars, how to line them up in a heat race, and how they transfer through a dash, why not go back to longer laps in the main events. Over the years the tail tanks have gotten way short. Why not go back to a bigger size tank, maybe not as big as the late 80's . This would allow for more laps to be run during the main event. If the sprint car mains became standard 40 laps, and some big shows with a 50 lapper. Just throughing an idea out there.

I would like to see larger fields in the main event. 24 cars on a half mile just doesn't do it for me. Why not start 30 to 32 cars. For the 1/4 mile tracks, let's start 26 or 28 cars. Lap traffic is the most exciting thing in the race.

I take it that you like to see alot of yellow and reds.. 32 cars on a 1/2 and 28 on a quarter that's funny.. Were lucky that we even have 24 most of the time for a show..

Yep, blowers, nitro, no rollcages, t-shirts, leather helmets, spiked bumpers and lions roaming the infield. More carnage = more expense = less racecars. This is a losing deal for the car owners now, let's not make it more costly
