I am not optimistic that there will be enough cars to support the series......but what do I know, I am just a fan in the stands?????

Regardless of what Mr Sunshine there says, this is great news and will be a welcome and successful series.  Bring it on.

Hey Baylands, just wondering what part of this country you reside in. I'm from PA and love NW sprints and midgets but I'm on the fence about how welcome and successful this series will be. I hope it takes off and does well as I'm bored to death of winged racing on half miles. I really wish the BOSS series would come closer to central PA, seems like a great series that is car owner and fan friendly. 30+ cars at all of their events, their rules seem very car owner friendly,  I remember back in about 2012 that our ARDC midget club ran a great schedule and averaged about 25-30 cars for their events. Now the ARDC presented by USAC is lucky to get 12-16 cars for an event. Something happened to the ARDC group and they lost a bunch of cars, so now they have USAC tied to their name but I don't see car counts increasing, just the price of a competitive car is increasing. I think USAC should concentrate on building up their national midget and silver crown series as they are not nearly as stong as the sprint car series. It seems that USAC should focus on their core instead of diluting themselves into other parts of the country. USAC also has a tire rule that benefits no one but themselves and costs competitors more money.

Get the tracks to participate and more guys will definitely run. If they only have two races car counts wont be great. As for the post about the midgets, yes what youve said is factual. But as for your comment about the silver crown series? Thats a bit off. The crown sereis has seen an incredible come back the past few years. As for the national midgets, they may not have 20 cars that follow the tour full time but they sure do have full fields just about everytime they run. The fact of the matter is that sprint cars are everywhere and midgets arent. Theres always going to be less weekly midgets racing than sprint cars. 

I am not being negative,,,,always try and catch a few USAC shows every year when they com east for the Eastern Storm mini series, especially at Grandview, The Pa fans seem to support the "handful" of shows each year as well. That being said, there are currently a lot of options for both drivers & fans in Central Pa including 410's, 360's, 358's, 305's, Speedstr's, ARDC midgets, and 600 micro sprints. For whatever reasons, URC has struggled with car counts over the last fews years, yet the ESS & Patriot clubs from upstate New York ( same rules as URC ) appear to be heathy with full car counts. I just don't see who will get rid of their wings and race a 360 wingless series.....hopefully I am wrong.

I think they will be great on the smaller tracks. One thing PA lacks is wingless sprints. I think it has a chance. Of course, just like the 305's, if they start drawing good car counts Port and WG will want to book them as much as possible. 305's on a half-mile is like watching paint dry and wingless sprints are much better suited to bullrings as well.
