NCRA Sprints Back in Action This Saturday Night at 81 Speedway!
 
Park City, Kansas – August 29, 2017 - The first of three straight race weekends will take place this coming Saturday night as the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products sprint car division heads to 81 Speedway in Park City for the “Ed ‘Fast Eddy Borecky” Memorial.
 
Former series champion Jeremy Campbell of Wichita currently leads the point standings with a slim thirty-point lead over defending tour champion Nebraska’s Don Droud, Jr. Norman, Oklahoma’s Danny Jennings sits third in the standings, just fifty points out of the point lead.
 
The ever-consistent Jon Freeman sits fourth in the standings while Jeff Stasa, Forrest Southerland, Fred Mattox, Jake Greider, J.D. Johnson and Ray Seeman rounding out the top ten in the point standings.
 
Six events have been held thus far this season with Campbell, Jennings, Mattox, Jason Martin, Joe Wood, Jr. and Gary Bell having reached victory lane.
 
This event will see the tour joined by the series other three divisions; crate late model, modified and mod-lite for a full night of racing during this Labor Day Holiday weekend.
 
As mentioned, this Saturday night’s event will be the first of three-straight weekends for the NCRA sprint car tour. Next Saturday night (September 9) the tour will make their second and final appearance of the season at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska in a co-sanctioned event with the Nebraska 360 Sprint Car Series. This event will pay $2500 to win and $500 to start the night’s twenty car feature finale.
 
One week later the tour will make their first and only appearance of the season at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta before closing out the 2017 points chase on Saturday night, October 7, at Salina (Kansas) Speedway.
 
Grandstand admission is just $15 for adults; seniors and all military $13 while children ages eleven and under admitted into the grandstands for free. Pit passes are just $30 for all adults. Gates will open at 5:00 PM while racing is set for a 7:00 PM start time.
