I guess it's time to accept that I've gotten my life's use out of my sprint car collectables. There are but a few things my daughter will hold on to, but having lost my son in 2011, the rest of my racing things have no home to go to. All I really want to know is if there are any Hosehead regulars that may be interested. I'm sure what ever I come up with for pricing will be pretty low compared to what others dream of when they price their stuff. I'll be real! I have the entire OPEN WHEEL collection. I have stored them in plastic sleeves, in pairs with a light cardboaord divider in between so the condition is great. I have an estimated 125-140 RACING CHAMPIONS 1/24th (or 1/25th whatever they were) scale winged sprinters from the first several years they were available. I have in the past displayed a good number of them, but  I do still have the boxes they came in and the boxes are in excellent condition. I also have approx 200 1/63rd scale RACING CHAMPION cars from the first several years of production. Many are still in original packaging and some are not. Those not in original packaging do still have the collectable driver card that they came with. In the next few weeks I will put together an actual inventory of the cars and make it available to email or mail to anyone who wants the list, either scale or both. Thanks!

Just a suggestion,  A few years back, I decided to reduce my collection of the same items that you have described.  I was unable to get what I thought to be a reasonable offer, therefore I donated them to the SCHOF and valued them at a price that was worthwhile as a charitable contribution.  I'm sure the SCHOF sold them for a nice profit, especially during the Nationals.  A win-win situation.

Paintboss, motorhead748......thanks for the thoughts, it's a way of life for us now. Many parents have been through the same thing. We had him for 36 years and for 30 of those he was my best racing buddy! We never missed a Knoxville Nationals together from the time he was six, so there are many great memories. There is a brick at the NSCHoF in his memory, and one next to his for me. Our way of always "being there" together.....   Smile

bmxr4....I'll get an exact count together for you in the next few days, thanks

I would be very interested in the Open Wheels, what were you thinking price wise?
