Any bets on who wins this weekend, Sprint Cars or Mother Nature??

I'm hoping for good weather, pretty pumped to see some racing.

I hope the weatherman is wrong about this weekend because it's not looking good right now. If Knoxville is rained out then my backup plan was to head down to Sedalia to watch the ASCS National/Warrior race, but it's an afternoon show and that doesn't appeal to me at all.

Kerry Madsen and team had the track rented out tonight and broke the track record on multiple laps. Doesn't count but if they get it in it'll be very fast.

My guess is Mother Nature sadly... hoping not. Kerry looked really fast tonight so I'm glad I at least got to see a sprint car run this week. TMAC should be there as long as he has a 410 back. Sounded like he hurt a few early on but I'm willing to bet he is ready. Austin McCarl will be a sleeper this year I would think. That's a team that knows their way around Knoxville. Engine program sounded very healthy at 34 this year and Austin looked good in his 17 car in years past. Never count out the dude. Ian has looked strong on the outlaw tour. Brown will be there a lot but probably won't run for points. The field is stacked as I didn't mention multiple others capable of winning some races.  Really excited to get back to Knoxville for weekly action.

Colten  I hear what your saying. I gotta see some wide open sprint car racing! I missed 34 Raceway last weekend due to work and if this gets rained on it might be another month before I can go again.

No tude at all. If you say Yea I'm going to this place but I don't like the class or the format then why go because you've already got it in your head . Goes down from there.

Yea I don't know. I'm waiting until about 5:15 to decide. They should be able to get the heats in but I'm really not sure about the features.

Anybody in Knoxville? The radar looked great 2 hours ago, but now it's "pop up storm city" it looks like. Did that first cell pound the track? We're heading down from Des Moines shortly and just wanted to know what we're up against. Any info helps, thanks!

Knoxville just called it. Boone cancelled quite a while ago. Have to wait two more weeks now!

Cheers, I've got nothing against the State Fair Speedway and I'm glad they're promoting sprint car races. But it's a two hour drive for me down to Sedalia and I can't justify spending the time, gas, and money on a ticket for a day race, especially at a track that dries out so quickly like Sedalia does. I have and will continue to attend sprint car races at Sedalia when I can... just not during the day.
