Bill, the wall that "looks like a SAFER Barrier" is a SAFER Barrier. It was installed for the NASCAR Trucks, and I believe it's now the only dirt track to have one.

You missed the best feature by leaving early. In the Nonwing race, Jac Haudenschild had the pole, but Cottle jumped out to an early lead in the Hazen #57. After Cottle broke on lap 7, Haud and Chris Windom proceeded to trade sliders through traffic and over the ruts for the lead. Windom made the pass for the win on lap 28 of 30.

It was a big success in my book!

I know, I know.....I heard that the non wing race was really good! I expected it to be too, after watching the heats. I had to leave..normally I would have stayed till the end. Haud can hustle it and so can Windom.

That place is really awesome, a great new place to watch sprints!

The fast cars were driving across the ruts about 20 feet up in 3-4, and weren't straight and on all 4 until the flagstand. With the ruts, Jac being Jac, and lapped traffic taken into consideration, Windom earned his $5000, it wasn't easy.
