1. That's not the same 14 that Tony Stewart drove at Bubba, that may be part of it. Also I can tell you I don't have a clue what engine is in either car (the one Tony ran at Bubba or the one Larson drove last night) but that could be it.

2. Shaffer is going to be back on Friday for Outlaws per Demyan Rudzik on twitter. PPM blew an engine in practice on Tuesday and they headed back to regroup. The others I can't speak for, but Greg will likely be there Friday for Outlaws.

3. No idea. KKR isn't strapped for cash so they have their pick of the litter so to speak.

Danny Smith has stated he's not running half miles anymore.

Yeah that's true in regards to Danny. I always forget Volusia is a half mile because of how fast it is.

They dodged the bullet on that flip out of the park the other night.  A few more feet and it would have been front page news.  It's obviously a big and fast track and luck was on their side that nobody was seriously injured or worse in that crash.

Scary part about that video is that is upgraded fencing compared to what they had when I was there 8 or 9 years ago.

Since Dirt/WRG owns the track, they should have a higher standard for safety of the drivers and fans, but apparently they are only concerned with bringing in pit pass $$ and grandstand $$ for 2 weeks and then renting the track for the rest of the year.

3. KKR ordered 4 more GF1 chassis to start the year off to go with the ones they already had from last year and will continue to run GF1 chassis for the 2017 season. Since Barry Jackson formally owned JEI chassis prior to selling to TI22, the CJB team and David Gravel has the cabability to build his own cars in house if need be.

All that fence looked like was chain link.
