We just posted a Danny Holtgraver story on SprintCarUnlimited.com. Read why the Pittsburgh driver decided to run his own team in 2017.

No replies.... I'd like to read the article, but don't want to spend $8 (I know, I'm cheap)

Your stuff is usually informative & interesting

Not sure how well your "pay per view" idea is going to work out....

I understand your concern, but the site will be well worth your money. Coverage, results, features, lists and plenty more. Also chance to win race tickets.

Dido on the spending the money plus it would probably be more PA based which isn't the best for me. I did visit the free portion of the website though. Looks legit. Kudos. Just like cable or satelite TV though.... they make money through ads but it wasn't enough so then you need a monthly bill on top of it. I've always refused to pay for TV service and just used antenna so I will probably also refuse to pay to read sprint news on a website with ad space as well.

How about you pay for advertisements instead of spamming the forum about your stories.

I am also cheap....that being said, I am willing to spend less than a buck a week for the yearly subscrition. Jeremey is an outstanding writer and has given a lot back to sprint car racing. I admire his balls for trying to something new. He has my support and I am looking forward to seeing the website grow over time. Heck listening to his weekly podcasts are worth it to me, all the other stuff will be gravey.

The reason I put the notice on Hoseheads is because i was asked to by certain people wanting a pseudo notification of when something new is up.

I see 20% of the posts on the main forum page relate to your website. I feel if people are that interested in knowing what you have going up they would go to your site and look. JMO, but I dont think you should cater to laziness, if that is truly why you are posting these, which I doubt.

What are you even trying to say here? I believe you are showing your vast ability to use the english language properly. I commend you on getting to a 3rd grade level. I have something that may help.

I agree that the forum board should not be populated with a thread for every article written.  I'm sure the content is great and worth the money to some, but maybe a mass email or Facebook notification to all members or some other way of notifying them that there's new content would be appreciated.

Honestly curious, do people blast Bill W when he starts a thread for every clients weekly Release?  Or Gary Thomas with every release for KWS, etc.?  Seriously curious.  Or are people just peeved because it's a pay site?

I have no problem with him posting on Hoseheads. In fact I think he should since many subscribers come here often for news. I'll certainly learn to look past them. I was just voicing my opinion hoping if the Ads take off, maybe it can become a free site someday. Even if Hoseheads was a dollar a month to post my nonsense opinions and read well written articles I still wouldn't pay for it. I would just check twitter and go experience more races in person than reading them.

And, he can get started for only $14.95.  Sounds like a bargain since he obviously does not want to subscribe to your website. Smile

Have known Jeremy a long time and IMO he gets information that most writers don't even attempt to get. I purchased a subscription to his new site immediately and have been impressed so far and the thing is ... it's not complete yet, but when it is, it will be well worth the price especially for a stats guy like me. What I've seen so far has been very interesting and the season hasn't even started.

Actually I have no idea what you are saying. The thought that somebody on a message board thinks they got at someone or can make fun of them is asinine in it's own right. Jog on.

I honestly dont think the message board should be spammed with press releases. Hoseheads has a main page for that, doesnt it?

This is a message board, it is here for opinions. I voiced mine, you didn’t like it. So instead of voicing your opinion; such as "I like the fact that he posts on here," you stooped to a third grade level (as I pointed out) and started using the biggest words you could think of. I'm sorry that they are all four letters. I can't help that some of your intellectual prowess can’t figure out that your "joke" didn’t make sense, nor was it funny. You also do not get to give me direction on when and how I can post.

It is people like you who read or listen to someone’s opinions, and can't either

  • Disagree with said opinion and give an educated grown up rebuttal
  • Agree with something
  • Or disagree and just go about your day

You sir are what is wrong with the United States. You are too ignorant and too much of a keyboard commando to act like an adult. So again sir, grow up and jog on.
