Although it would be great news if indeed the track has been sold, I would be cautious of the source of the information!

Let's see...so far I have heard that #1 a guy from Sioux City, IA bought it, #2 a guy from Fargo, ND bought it, #3 a guy from Windom, MN bought it, #4 (2) guys from Aberdeen, SD bought it, #5 a guy from Sioux Falls, SD who used to "twist" hair has bought it, #6 a guy with the same last name from Indianapolis bought it, although I think that's nothing more than a "Smoke" screen, #7 the former owners bought it back, and lastly #8 I heard that the current owner is going to keep it and reopen it and it's going to be "over the top" entertainment. So I wonder if this "new" owner is one of these (8) or is it number #9? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

#9? A bank or an investor that is holding the note is looking to sell it? Nah- couldn't be. Chuck spent 10 or 20 million dollars out of his own pocket, or whatever- unless everthing actually is a lie. You can make up your own mind. The only thing I'd hold out there as probably being true is that shake and bake doesn't know much about anything.

It amazes me how people come up with dollar amounts of what someone would bid...like they would make it public knowledge.

Yes, let's wait for official  word or press release , but these tracks need to work together ,as all areas need to work together for the betterment of racing .

Well now that the one individual who didn't want to work with other tracks is gone, maybe that can happen. I myself doubt that a buyer has come to the rescue of Badlands/Husets. One can only hope.

Judging from the statements made in the "Husets" thread, I stand by my statement about shake and bake. Oof-Duh!
