Dale Blaney and muffler bearings. Both pretty funny.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Great news! Dale has always been one of my favorites. Glad to have him racing in Central Pa in one of our most iconic rides!

I just hope the car is as good as the driver. The Zemco car hasn't been all that impressive over the last few years. Seems to qualify well but fades during the racing. Don't know if that was all due to the driver, Lucas Wolfe, or not. Lucas seemed to do just as well or better in the 5W. Best of luck to Blaney and the team!

Can't disagree. If every race night consisted of time trials, heats & a 10 lap feature, that car would be the winningest car in Central Pa. Don't know if it's the slick track, dirty air, or combination of both but that car consistently drops an anchor at the end of the night.

Consistanly in the top 10 still though. Not many outside top ten in either car.

63 top 10's 20 couple outside top 10. That is both cars. Split that between two cars. not to shabby if you ask me.

I agree that the Lucas Wolfe and the Zemco car were one of the better teams but they did seem to finish lower than where they qualified. It got a bit old watching him get passed. I assume he and the team felt the same way. I am a fan of Lucas Wolfe, the Zemco car, and Blaney and hope for continued success by all.

So I thought there were some people on here with inside knowledge that Jeff Sheperd was going to run the Zemco car. Guess that was not the case.

They did not seem as consistent since switching from Maxim chassis and losing Ryan Hand to the Heffner team.

With all due respect to Wolfe, I think it was the driver. Racing is totally different from qualifying.
I suspect Blaney will be a contender in Central Pa. next summer

Definitely a big blow to the All Stars. You'll more than likely see Blaney at the Silver Cup at Lernerville as Lucas and Zemco have attended the last few years (and Lucas ran well in the Zemco car at Lernerville). Plus Dale LOVES Lernerville where his resume speaks for itself.

Can't say for sure. I know what I saw was texts and it seemede reliable. May have backed out due to health or some other reasons that had been keeping him out of a ride. It;s also possible that with Dale becoming a FA, it was just too good of an opportunity to pass up on Zemco's part. Who knows. I can admit when I was wrong, as I obviously was. bUT THERE WAS AT LEAST SOME COVERSATION ABOUT HIM GETTING BACK OUT THERE THAT i WOULDN'T EXACTLY DISCOUNT YET EITHER.

Good choice, can't do much better for a driver than that.

Yeah I think it's a little of both. The 1z has always been fast in TT's and so has Lucas no matter which car. They still had quite a bit of success though. He didn't always go backwards, some of the big races he did though.
