Lucas Wolfe takes over as driver of the Mike Barshinger-owned team

Interesting....didn't even think of Lucas being a possible option for the 11C, but sounds like a perfect match on both sides.    I assumed Wolfe would stay with the Zemco but now he gets to run a full schedule with one team.

I agree, did not see this coming but after thinking about it, the opportunity to run almost twice as many races does make sense for Lucas....now it will be interesting to see who fills the Zemco seat, could it be a driver who currently runs "part time" in Central Pa as well????

The rumor is that Stevie Smith is going to be their driver next year. I don't put any faith whatsoever in rumors because 90% of the time they're nothing but bullshit but that's the one that was going around. Silly season is in full swing.

I hope they stick around. Forever actually.

Only two rumors I have heard are

1. Zemcoo team is done???

2. T.j. Stutts to the Zemco car because of family connections???

Even if Stevie goes back ti the #1Z Pa. IS LOOSING  at least one maybe two cars,lets hope Haus can come up with something he was one of around twenty regulars at the Grove.

In the article it states that he will jump back and forth between Lincoln and Port.

If what I saw and heard is true, the Zemco car will have a familiar face behind it next year and it will be a bit of a shocker

Just a guess.....Stevie Smith. He has helped the Rahmer boys for a couple of years and now Fred is ready to let both boys spread their wings a bit more. The Zemco ride would let Stevie keep the same type of part time schedule he had with Fred and Zemco gets a HoF driver..... Time will tell??????

I'm not sure why Stevie would leave Rahmer if given the option to stay. Fred and the boys have always given Stevie a fast racecar and Stevie can still get it done as we all know.  Time will tell though

My only reason for throwing Stevie's name out there is that it has to be tough prepparring THREE cars on certain race nights. Most teams struggle to get one car prepared on a normal night, let alone three. For the bigger races, Brandon seemed to get the short end of the stick and had to sit out.....I have no inside information, just making an observation during the age old SILLY SEASON.

The only pause I have with that is the Zemco car has run more than a part time schedule the last few years.  Stevie still lives in OK and flies in for the races he runs with Rahmer.  Is Zemco cutting back (they may be I have no idea)?  If so, then Stevie makes sense.  If not, then may not be him.

Negative on either......I'll let you speculate. But I'm pretty sure on this one. I could be wrong. But from the people I spoke with the information I saw, I would bet it;s happening

Ok.....let's narrow this a bit. You said a "familar face", which I interpet as being a former driver of the Zemco #1, is that correct?????
