I received from call from friend races were not finished in Hanford, Kings speedway last night due to the death of a SCRA driver. Do not know name of driver tho.

Was there for the Friday nite show. Saw the wreck, but didnt think it was tooooo bad, but I now see Jim Turner has died. RIP, you were doing what you loved.
Odd thing, they called out family of two other drivers, prayed for one of them and then when the race was called..... they announced a third name. The whole place was understandably un-nerved by the accident and things did not go smoothly at all. It was a great show of solidarity and respect when the drivers from all 3 classes walked out onto the track for the announcment of the race being cancelled. Racers have class.
