You may have a point, but we will never know--due to your 500 word run-on sentence.

Stevie 410 driving for 30 + years, Freddie with 40+ years of experience in driving, car prep and setup, half a million (plus) dollars investment of hauler, cars, spares, engines, crew pit passes, tires, etc, etc contributd to what won that race, not someone else stopping on the track and causing a yellow with 5 laps to go.   Do you surmise that Jr. without a two way radio knew that Stevie was fast enough that He would drive away on a clear track and not get driven by or slid by second or third who are now right on his rear nerf.  I bet you think the moon landing was also faked.

Is this a new name for " i hate lincoln" Altman? Rambling post, no punctuation except a question mark that seems to be mid sentence and some bad spacing. And a new persons first post is about a conspiracy at Lincoln. And as egras pointed out, not a well thought out post at that. Hmm?

Not so fast my little friends. Do not shoot down the "the Rahmers ringer " thread so fast. This used to happen many a time when the outlaws were owned by a different gentlemen. The flyin fossill picked up a few tricks from the so called big boys.

I hate commenting on a race that I didn't attend but this is just way too damn stupid to sit idly by and pass up on. Let's just say for the sake of the argument that the accusations and suppositions that you're convince of actually happened just as you think they did. If somehow Freddie Jr. was able to know that all Stevie needed was a caution to seal the deal and stop on the track and say it jumped out of gear or something like that, what's there to stop him? Even if there was a rule on the books (pretty sure there isn't but maybe there is?) about stopping on the track to intentionally bring out a caution, all he's gotta do is say that it jumped out of gear or his belts were loose. There's no way to tell if he's lying therefore there's no way to police it. It's called gamesmanship son and its been going on since before most of us were so much as a sperm swimming around in our fathers sack and it'll go on for as long as men race cars against one another. Did you ever see one of the hot shoes starting in the last row of a heat get a bad start and then come to a stop in turn 2 before a lap is complete to stack up the field and give themselves another shot? It happens all the time and even though everyone in the house knows what happened, there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. One thing is for sure, if the guy who finished second thought for one second that something was amiss and that something could be done to disqualify Stevie and get himself the $20,000 check, he would've done it.

I have  my own thoughts as well  as opinions on this vast conspiracy at this race track .  I have been  the one calling out  the problems at  this track that does not support the fans and  the drivers of this GREAT SPORT .  Something stinks  about what has happened in this race .  tracks should have  officials tech-ing cars that have problems on the track for  such cheating as this  so cleary is .

Its a well known fact that during the 88H days Larry Shive created a lot of cautions that benefitted Fred Rahmer.  The cautions were easily signalled from a crew member to the assisting driver at the pit entrance.

I'm sure if it were an Outlaws show the caution would be a conspiracy for the Outlaws. Some of you people need to grow up and enjoy the races.

Who are you calling "you people" ?? haha Better be careful now.

On a more serious note, I just watched the video and it looked like Stevie just got back around to take the lead. Also, when the caution came out I didn't notice a huge amount of traffic. I am guessing Stevie was a little faster so I dont know if this caution, intentional or not, played a role. Not being there I guess the question would be how much traffic would he have hit before taking the checkers if the yellow didn't come out? - Just curious to try and get more info about the situation.

Innocent until proven guilty

As FiXXXer said, how are you going to prove it?

Anyone saying that Stevie Smith Sr's  boy driving Freddie's car might be favored by Lincoln Speedway is far from a fool.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I dunno. I live in the upper midweat and have only seen Stevie race in person maybe 8-10 times. He seems like he could hold his own against the best.  Heck-I bet he could even lead the Knoxville Nationals A-main on a good day. So, I'm guessing if you put him on a track he's somewhat familiar with, and give him a car that's perhaps better than just run of the mill, and maybe a crew chief who's been around a while, then there's probably a pretty good chance he'd do OK.

Does the Beer Hill Gang sit up on a grassy knoll at Lincoln, or is that some other Pennsylvania track I'm thinking of?
