Any rumors on any hired guns coming in? Looks like there are still a few good seats to fill. Below is a list from the Trophy Cup website that still lists TBA for drivers.
ROTH MOTORSPORTS TBA 83SR
ROTH MOTORSPORTS TBA 83
ROTH MOTORSPORTS TBA 83JR
JFM INC TBA 73
SILVA MOTOR SPT TBA 57
WILLIAMS RACING TBA 0k
ALAN KAISER TBA 4
BK RACING TBA 69
TBA NETTO RACING 88N
STEVE WATT ENT TBA 81
MIKE FARIA TBA 4
PETER MURPHY RAC. TBA 11
TARLTON TBA 21X
VANLARE TBA 5V
Some might just be errors (BK and Mike Faria?)
Also, the Finley Farms 77 is not signed up. Not sure when the last time they made it down, but they've had some top notch talent in the car over the years. I also believe the BWW 82 made it out last year.
For drivers, locally, Hirst, Allard and Walker are not listed. While the WoO (Sat in OK) and All-Stars (Fri. and Sat. in OH) are running that weekend, the rest of the Mid-West (NSL/ Knoxville/ Badlands) are mostly finished. The Nebraska 360 are running and there is a 360 race in KS. Out East, Port Royal is running 410's and 360's on Sat. and the ESS is also racing on Sat. The ASCS seasons are all finished up by TC time as well.
TK, Lasoski, Brown, Dobmier, Zoomer, Herra, Ruetzel, Swindell (Jeff and Sammy), Hafertepe, Wayne Johnson, Jack Dover, Stevie Smith and Jac could all possibly be free.
Any thoughts?

I'm assuming truck race at Taladega will keep him away. Same local for Larson.

I wonder if rain were to be in the forecast in Alabama for that weekend, might Rico and Larson have cars on standby? Would they waive the "No entry at the gate" rule for the Rico and Kyle show?

Gio Scelzi was in the 83jr early in the year but he's registered in the Scelzi 41x and Dominic in the 41

Also just noticed that Roger Crokett isn't list and Colby Copeland is listed twice (18W and 20). As consistent as Crokett has been at the Trophy Cup over the years, I'd think he'd be a top choice to fill a seat. Trey Starks is another name that I'm use to seeing at the Cup that is missing.
