Wondering is MN dead when it comes to racing? There must be something to talk about. . . . .

My board is most popular with the Sprint Car fans and with the exception of the Princeton National and maybe another week at Arlington they're done for the year. The end of season specials are going on at all the local tracks but the 20/20 board is where the Late Model, Modified, Super Stock and Street Stock fans enthusiasts like to post. There is a link to 20/20 on the gotomn links page if you're into that type of racing. I stop in there every day to keep up with what's happening locally.

It's time to kick back, rent some movies, watch some football and hang around with non-race-fan friends and relatives. If it wasn't for winter forcing us to take a break we race fanatics wouldn't have enough sense to ever stop and smell the roses wink

It's been quiet in here ever since they neutered the board this spring.

Aint no fight left in the dogs.

We're just sitting around, checkin i, and gettin fat..

Bout time for a Princeton post though.

Should be a good time there next weekend!

It used to be a Jackson Speedway board until Stan started deleting every damn post  without a clue to what was really going on here in  Jackson. It's to bad  there used to be a lot more traffic on here. Maybe it will come back  eventually.

My viewpoint on the matter. Jackson Speedway is a couple hundred miles from where I live and I have only been there one time the past few seasons. My home track is Cedar Lake and I go there quite often. Princeton, Rice Lake, Kopellah, Red Cedar, Proctor, North Central, Superior, Arlington, Deer Creek and Kasson just to name a few are all closer. Jackson is pretty much off my radar. If I lived closer I'd probably go there more often but I don't.

A controversy about Jackson came up on this board and I got stuck in the middle. I had you folks ragging on me publicly here on the board and I was getting email and phone calls about the situation. All I want to do is come home from work at night, check my email, update the news blog, maybe post some of my photos and take a peek at the board to make sure everything is OK. When people air their gripes about a track I seldom attend on here it ends up being a huge waste of my time having to deal with the situation.

Rather than give me sh*t trigger20 you ought to email me privately and volunteer to help moderate the board. Maybe then you can see what a pain in the *ss they are and you'll understand why I got fed up with it and wiped all the posts out of frustration. Bottom line, I am not a part of the local racing scene down there and don't have time to deal with it. You're free to find another message board where they have a bunch of volunteer moderators that have the time to deal with that stuff. Try 20/20, the Late Model crowd loves to give Sprint fans sh*t on that board. You'll be so busy explaining why Sprints shouldn't have starters that you won't have time to argue about anything else. wink
