Another great Speedweek. Had a blast hitting all the races this year. Some were good, some not so much so but that's how it goes. They all can't be great. Congrats to DD on a great week. Good to see the 48 get rolling again. Love him or hate him, he can wheel the shit out of it and is often worth the price of admission. More importantly, keep 305 driver and occasional poster to this forum, Jake Waters in your prayers. I left after the 410's so I didn't see it but he was involved in a very serious accident. Not sure of the details but it's been confirmed that he suffered some nasty burns. Hope he gets well soon. Hate to see things like that happen.

Central PA born and raised driver and car owner. Car made in the USA. Great to see.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Glad you guys had a great Speedweek. Congrats to DD. Ohio's was awesome as well. Wish we could work together better with scheduling and get more PA cars and you guys get more of our cars. I would love to see some sort of Ohio/PA challenge series (sorry had to pot Ohio first there!)

Congrats to DD , crew and owner on winning the Pa Speedweek title . Races were good overall , crowds great as usual , fans really support this week and car counts were pretty good considering what the costs are doing to every team . -++

Didn't the PA promoters start their speed week to keep PA cars from going over to Ohio?

Couldn't agree more. I absolutely HATE the fact that Ohio and Pa Speedweeks interfere with one another. I'd love to see more of our guys go out there and more of the Ohio teams come in here. It would a million times better. I still think of the 2 Speedweeks, Ohio is still better. I don't know when but I have every intention of checking it out some year. They get better car counts, the tracks are better and the quality of the fields is superior as well. We have a good deal here and it's a lot of fun but they definitely do it better in Ohio. After all, it is the original Speedweek.

Yes they did. It's no accident that it interferes with Ohio. That was 100% intentional and it sucks.

I think fxxxer was just being nice. I'm from PA but live in Ohio now. I live an hour from four good sprint car tracks, Eldora, Waynesfield, Lawrenceburg, and Atomic. Good racing, good, strong teams. What we are missing is the passion you guys have. I really noticed it at the Waynesfield SW race. Saw several fans decked out in DD gear rooting their driver on. Thought that was really cool.

Pretty simple. PA tracks have been shit lately. For some reason, tracks around here are scared to death that a cushion might develop. The Ohio Speedweek seems to take place on a lot more racey tracks. Shorter, high banked tracks that are prepped well and always multi grooved. Central PA tracks with the exception of Port most of the time, haven't been too good this year. Ohio averaged higher car counts and in my opinion, they had more overall talent as far as guys who stand a realistic shot of winning each night out. PA Speedweek is great but I just personally think Ohio Speedweek is better.

I've been to both PA and Ohio speedweeks and honestly it's not close. PA it just seems like a good local show, which is pretty good. Ohio seems more like a big event. I do think the tracks have alot to do with it. Posse tracks are so big alot of guys don't want to waste their time getting out motored. Let's hope Tony can get a good points payout going for Ohio speedweek. If he can, we might just see more guys travel to Ohio.
