He hasn't posted anything to his FB page in over a week which isn't like him.  

He probably got arrested again for some outstanding warrant that I am sure in his mind was "bogus."  Granted, his racing reviews are as good as it comes. But his lifestyle is the kind that can get a person in trouble in a hurry.  He has never been shy about this at all.  Just the facts people, just the facts.

He is a helluva writer no doubt, but outside of that.....

I counldn't agree more!!!!  After hearing of his latest run in it make's me dislike him that much more.  He is the type of idiot that all parents fear.  Anyone trying to out run the law has zero regard for any others.  100-120 mph????  If this clown thinks losing his "cabbage" or sitting a few days for obstruction is bad, just wait until this idiot actually kills someone.  No matter how good of journalist he is, I have no time of day for him.  He needs to be locked up for a long time.  He snubs his nose at the law and any type of authority and then mocks them as he leaves.  Total dirtball in my mind.

This dude has given more to fans of sprintcar racing than most others. His commitment to archiving the sport you all love is a pretty big commitment. His Hunter S Thompson style is what gonzo journalism is all about. Sorry you idiots can't see that. Living free without bonds ties makes what he does REAL and INTERSTING. We only have one ticket in this world and one should live it the way they want. I don't think he is really looking for your approval of how and where he does what he does. Will his incredible ride end someday? Probably, but it sure is a fun ride. Sorry you dolts can't see that. And you call yoursevles race fans. Shame on you. In all seriousness, choice of religion, choice of drink, choice of track, etc... I always say to each his/her own.  Enjoy life to the fullest extent because you only get one go 'round.  Unless your Hindu, which in that case just refer back to my previous statement.
