After about 11 of the 32 qualifiers, sprinkels began. Everyone got a time in on a wind swept dusty dry track. Sprinkles, mist then nothing and we got through the middle of the second Old Skool Modified-Sprints Heats and the rains came down for good.
Ryan Irwin had secured his 1st career IRA Fast Time Award before the rains called the show.
Was cool that Zoch showed up and joined Wessell in the booth for the call, that would have been really great to have those guys calling the race tonight.
