With speedweek fast approaching, it got me wondering what drivers are coming in for the week. I know Dave Blaney had it on the schedule before the accident. What other drivers are planning on coming in?

Probably McFadden and Macedo. Maybe a few PA guys? Sodeman, Spithaler, Ryan Smith?
Hunter Schurenburg, Brady Bacon, Aaron Ruetzel maybe? I have no confirmation, just speculating based on past speedweeks and also who raced in Ohio last weekend...maybe as a warm up for the speedweek shows?
Hopefully Tim Shaffer can race some if not all of the shows?

I would think if Steve Kinser planned on racing anymore (which I have no idea), maybe this would be the time and place for him. He raced Ohio SW last year, and he'll have Craigs car there at the shows. Plus close to home, relatively speaking.
I know one thing for certain - I can't wait! Best week of the year. If you have never seen winged 410s at Waynesfield, it is awesome! Plus the big 10K-to-win show at Eldora too. Atomic is always a good show as well.

I'm planning in going to Waynesfield for the first time, can't wait!
I don't know of anybody coming in to run the entire week for points but seems like a lot of people are doing short stints.

Ohio Speedweek is not only the best of the various State Speedweeks but it may also be the single best week in all of sprint car racing and I am including that week in August in the corn State. If you have some holidays and want to chase sprint cars this is undoubtedly the best week to do it, try it you'll like it.....

Hopefully they start making these shows higher paying through the field with a nice point fund.

Waynesfield last year was probably my favorite race of the year. That place is kinda everything Eldora used to be. Barebones, simple, laid back & all about the racing. Just sit your ass on a wooden bleacher, drink a couple beers, and watch some racing. Come & go as you please with no cooler & parking gestapo, billboards or suites.

I won't swear to it, but I believe Danny Dietrich from PA is going to be there.
