As this season winds down, it's time to think about your most memorable race of the season. As I sit here and think about it, it's pretty tough. But as I narrow it down, I'd say among races in which I attended would be Tulare spring race, when TK won after losing his Grandma. As for others I've watched, gotta say "The Wave" at Chilicothe.

Wild Child at River Cities Speedway, flipping in the heat, coming from 13th in B to transfer, coming from rear of A to finish second 56 one thousandths of a second behind Joey....
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

Good call with the Tulare race Savage. Seeing TK win was indeed a good night.
Jonathan Allard winning the Thursday night preliminary at the Gold Cup and taking the lead from Saldana on Saturday night (only to have a red come out) rates right up there too.
And watching "the wave" on espn2.

Your season must end pretty early.
But so far, Daron Clayton winning from the back at Haubstadt has been the best race. Jon Stanbrough coming from the back at Kokomo one night after an early race crash was another. Brad Sweet and Hunter Schuerenburg all 25 laps above the cushion ,and just inches away from the wall was pretty cool too.
Any POWRi midget race at Belle Clair Speedway,Belleville, Illinois rank right up there as well.

Donny Schatz totally dominating the the Knoxville Nationals again, inspite of the McSlider(TMAC's failed attempt at a slide job).

My first Knoxville Nationals. Yes Terry threw several McSliders at Schatz.
Next up was watching Alyssa Gevings win at Petaluma at 15 years old. She will thread the needle in traffic.

TK's win ok, but Friday nite at the Gold Cup with Joey passing everyone on the topside was a jaw dropper way beyond Thurs. nite's show with the Allard win. Dont get me wrong. I loved the pass for the lead and all that and have seen him shine at Skagit, too, but Friday was a rim riding clinic put on by the #9 . Thanx for the thread.

Although I still have 7-8 more nights of sprints to see, so far, I will go with the C/B mains Saturday with TK making the A and Joey in the A for the win.

Out of the two world of outlaws races and one usac race I've been to this year, I'm gonna have to say my favorite was the outlaws at ohsweken. But I still plan to attend Orange County. Although out of all sprint car races, I have to go with seeing Jason Barney win with the ASCS Patriots at Canandaigua and being able to greet him in victory lane. Did anyone see how Barney went from 11th to 2nd in the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals and was catching Poirier for the lead but just ran out of time. He blew around "the cobra" Chuck Hebing and Dustin Daggett who had started in the first two rows before they even got to half way.

The three races that I saw Daron Clayton win at Haubstadt this year were great but it was the KISS finale in July where he went mono y mono against the mighty Foxco #53 and Stanbrough that stands out the most and to me is the best race I've seen this year. I think the only way it could have been better was if they both started at the tail. Damn they threw down a hellacious race that night!!!!
Allright now the best winged race I saw this year was the WoO at Pevely in July followed pretty closely by the same bunch at Paducah in April (the weather that night will make that one to remember as well; colder than a witches tit in a brass bra!). Hoping the STN's (me and Car Wash's fave winged race of the year) turns out to be better than those outlaw shows.

Man so many to think of. Off the top of my head TK's WOO win at Tulare, TK & BK going at it during the final GSC race in Chico, JA's win at the Gold Cup prelim, Evan Suggs' 1st winged win at the Dirt Cup, Brad Sweet taking 3rd at Gold Cup and Kyle Hirst winning his first 410 race at Chico in August.
Not so good ones but memorable nontheless would be Andy Gregg leading 29 1/4 laps with GSC at Placerville before getting upside down after contact with Wimmer, Jonathan Allard running out of fuel while leading on the final lap at Calistoga in what would have been his first Stoga win, JA leading 34 laps at the Dirt Cup only to have a lap car run him up the track when it looked like he would be become the first driver to ever 3-peat at Dirt Cup, Ronnie Day leading all but two laps at the Pombo/Sargent Classic before engine problems parked him in the infield.

There have been some good ones, but so far, it's been Stanbrough at Kokomo during Sprintweek...
If this post isn't results, stories or something c
constructive, it isn't me!

WoO race at Paducah (THE ICE BOWL) was a good one, but man it was cold. The WoO return to WestMemphis AR Riverside Speedway. Last but not least was both weeks of the K-Ville Nats., my first trip there.

The 360 Nats. were probably the best races of the year at K'ville. Unfortunately, only a few saw them.

We have all the way until November here in Arizona to catch some more sprint car action. I have to say that I pick The Final night at the "The Copper" at Manzanita the start of the year. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. put on a great show in the Sprint Car and the Silver Crown Car. No one picked him to win at all. And he came out of no where and did it twice in 1 night. Ricky Stenhouse Jr.... Who? I have to say that race sprung him into history and a hell of a career. From family owned to Tony Stewart racing. Hell of a job.
