I just found this website. My father was Ed Trahan # 20 latemodel. I never missed a race, it was our bond, racing that is. I so appreciate the memorial race for my father, and i know he was watchin with pride. My father meant the world to me, I still can't believe it will be 3 yrs April 9, 2010, that he left this earth. His passion was racing. He started racing motorcycles at 19, and never quit racing till he was almost 71 yrs old. What alot of people don't know is he had undergone numerous chemotherapy treatments the whole summer of 08' and still Finished his last race 5th place and the heat 2nd. To say iI was proud is an understatement. Thank you for reading this, and God Bless the racers that has gone on to be with our maker.
