The nation's largest infield camping watch party for NASCAR's season-opening Daytona 500 Race will be happening Saturday and Sunday at the Texas Motor Speedway infield.
The two-day event, which is open to the public, begins when the gates to the South Tunnel open on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 8 a.m. CT for those looking to camp overnight as well as those tailgaters interested in watching the season-opening XFINITY Series Powershares QQQ 300 race from Daytona beginning at 2:30 p.m. The weekend culminates with the running of the 59th Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 26, beginning at 1 p.m. Interested fans will have the opportunity to select their seating preference and/or infield camping options for 2017 as ticket representatives will offer guided tours of the grandstands and infield camping to view available options.
Fans interested in camping or tailgating must RSVP at www.texasmotorspeedway.com/DaytonaRSVP before Monday, Feb. 20. Spots for the watching party are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
